About

Charlie (@chozzles) and Anna (@ajlobster) are revisiting Star Trek: The Next Generation. In a big way. And we've noticed that the clothes on that show are AMAZING. And not just 1987 amazing, or 24th century amazing, but BOTH, SIMULTANEOUSLY. We celebrate those fashions here.

Friend of the blog Jen found this treasure while searching for “something else entirely.” Bless you, Internet. Blinternet.I sort of wish the ladies here were modeled after Troi and Crusher (with varying hairstyles for each season) instead of a rando Bajoran and Vulcan lady*, and it would be nice to have just the go-go boots to go with the original series dress, but I do like the inclusion of a variety of outfits from different series, and the Bajoran details are cute. Nice work, paper doll lady!I did a little poking around, and ended up on the website of Tom Tierney, who is, like, THE DUDE for paper dolls. If you were a kid who liked paper dolls (which I was, because FASHION), you probably had his books. He apparently drew some Star Trek ones, but I could only find this image of the cover on his website.
*Update: boylemedia has alerted us that the ladies here are probably Kira Nerys and T’Pol, though the lady who drew them didn’t identify them as such.
